Oh right, I read somewhere it was on the higher rate...
Tax is only €390 on that Jimny, it literally falls within this rate by .1g
The automatic is €570 to tax

I'm standing in a field full of sheep, is it wrong that I feel aroused
Yeah, sure a couple of years ago a friend of my mothers enquired about one with a Suzuki dealer in Dublin and a salesman advised her they wouldn't be imported as the tax was likely to be a mad figure.
Same lady had a 99 Jimny from new with tiny miles, 20k on it or thereabouts. Was red rotten though, a lifetime by the sea!

Nice grey Golf TCR 172 or 192 heading out of Balbriggan the other day, looked very nice.
Potentially. They're to commemorate the FIA Touring Car Racing. Have the same or similar eDiff. , brakes from the Clubsport S and a more road focused suspension setup. It's lower and firmer than a standard golf with adaptive suspension but it doesn't have the same alignment setup as the Clubsport S. I can't remember if the 290bhp was an overboost function, or was on tap all the time versus the 245 of a standard GTI.
Only a handful landed in Ireland, because the factory more or less told dealers that "order one, and you may or may not get it."
