TLDR: 229k miles, will have new NCT from 13/11/20. Condition: Excellent mechanicals, Excellent interior, Average exterior. 2,500

    The detailed description:

Spec is as it left the factory.

Metallic Black with the Black Edition styling pack,
Black exhaust tips, black roof rails, and privacy glass.
Recently refurbished RS4 style 18" alloys, wrapped in nearly new Goodyear Eagle F1s,

Interior specification includes two tone graphite/black leather interior with leather/alcantara multi function steering wheel with alcantara trimmed gearstick and handbrake.

Front seats are fully electric and heated. Audi Symphony head unit replaced with a Bluetooth aftermarket unit but the original unit is included with the car.
    Bose amp and speakers.
Electric mirrors, auto dimming mirror central locking etc.

Mechanically its in excellent condition. The 2.0tdi (BRD engine code) with 170bhp that still pulls strongly and cleanly. 6 speed manual is in good order as are the diffs. The clutch and DMF were changed at 179k. Discs and pads changed at 174k

Mileage is high at 229000 miles but Ive serviced it every 10k miles and most of the major wear and tear components have been replaced in the last 2 years. Timing belt, water pump etc at 216k. Receipts for all major repairs are present along with all NCT results during my ownership.

    Faults:

Aircon compressor won't engage. The issue is not electrical, it's either the pulley clutch or the compressor itself.

Rear Wiper motor is broken. The original went haywire as the washer fluid was leaking into the motor housing. The genuine Valeo replacement was not genuine and lasted 6 months.

The heating pad for the passenger seat is broken.

Externally, it is good for 13 years/229k miles but it does have its issues. It is loved but has not been babied.

The front and rear bumpers need tidying. There is a poor repair on the drivers rear quarter and the bonnet has been painted. The grill is cracked and there is some damage to the bumper bar suggesting a small traffic shunt (all prior to my ownership). The trailing edge of the front drivers wheelarch is just starting to blister. It has not had any paint during my ownership and does not try to hide it's flaws but does clean up very well.

So in summary, an old, loved workhorse. Mechanically very good and easily put right cosmetically if you were inclined.

It'll have a new NCT on 13th November. Ill be asking 2,500 at that stage.

    Looks great that man.

Wouldn't be put off by the miles the way you look after your cars.

Always liked the look of these in estate shape
THE LIMITS OF TYRANTS ARE PRESCRIBED BY THE ENDURANCE OF THOSE WHOM THEY OPPRESS.

Thanks Jim. Don't really want to sell but cant justify keeping it when it rotates out of daily duties
