    Our new tri-party overlords

Perhaps another political thread is the last thing we need, but hopefully this won’t descend into madness. I’m really curious to know, does anyone actually like where this is going? I am yet to hear a good word from anyone, in person or online, about this. I’ll add a caveat here and say that I am nearly entirely impartial here - I have no idea why this might be good or why it might be bad.

What’s so bad about the Greens? /runsandhides

    What say ye?

Apart from selling their marxist souls to prop up a centre-right Govt in return for a few Ministerial Pension / seat at the high table you mean ? That and the fact that they genuinely seem dumb enough to have forgotten the lessons of what happened the last tome they got sucked into prostituting themselves in a similar fashion.

Apart from those couple of minor issues - nothing much really

Well, the people I voted for are now in government, so I can't really complain. I'm no Fianna Fáil fan, not by a long way, but I do think Mícheál Martin is fundamentally a good human being, and when you look to our immediate left and right you learn very quickly to appreciate the importance of that in elected officials...

    Good for you Bloke.
Its very likely that I'll never vote again.

Ah Jayses, here we go again. What will "not voting" achieve?

    Usual nonsense from you.

    We have a parliamentary democracy.

The left did not win the election.

    The numbers add up.

    That's how it is.

"We didn't get the change we voted for" - we did, that's how it works.

My nonsense is allways very unusual thank you very much and I never get the change that I voted for so I'm not playing any more but maybe I'll change my mind when I see how much of a balls is made over the next while.
