    I was passing a Toyota garage today so I popped in just to see if they had any info on the GR4.

    He said it should be going on sale this summer,around May/June.

    I thought it wouldn't be till the end of the year so you might be seeing one on Irish roads in the next few months.

    I did and they said:
    we currently have no notification of any plans to introduce the Yaris GR-Four to the Irish market.

    @Titan
    My local Toyota garage hadn't a clue and hadn't even heard of the GR-Four. Not sure where your guy is getting this summer from if Toyota Ireland are saying it's not coming to these shores? Wishful thinking possibly?

    I have yet to come across anybody in Toyota Ireland interested in anything motorised

    Better talking to Toyota UK very helpful and just as excited about something outside the mundane products they normally bring to market

    I'm not saying the information I got was right but at least he had heard of the car.

    He did also say they hadn't much information on it so what he said might be taken with a pinch of salt.

    I’ve been watching the WRC and realised I haven’t paid much attention to this. Super cool that they’re putting something related on the road.
    I'm with the resistance

    Emissions should be around 184
    So road tax of 750...

    Price shouldn’t be too bad by Irish standards

    other derails here, 0 to 60 5.2 seconds and 6 speed manual
