    Sugru Mouldable Glue

    Hi folks,
Just wondering if anyone has used Sugru. Itís great stuff all together.
Just a few examples of whatís Iíve done.

    Mandatory Iphone cable repair:

A holder on my monitor for headphones + headphones (get another few years from them)

A little safety sugru to a three wheeler. Aluminum part was an accident waiting to happen. No before picture though.

Have ye done anything with Sugru?
If so what have ye done?

Yep, great stuff - rubber top of the dipstick on the Cappuccino snapped off, so 'moulded' one from Sugru, worked a treat!

It's great stuff, I've used it for loads of projects, from repairing cases, and securing cable runs to patching the vinyl on the MX5!
The down side is that it's expensive, and has a finite shelf life, even if stored in the fridge.

There are a few recipes for a DIY alternative that's cheaper on Instructables and MakeUseOf.
If they think you're crude, go technical; if they think you're technical, go crude. I'm a very technical boy.

It is expensive alright and you need to know what your doing so it wonít go off. Itís a shame about the shelf life on it.

I had 1 sachet left over and went to use it and it was gone off.

    Right good stuff though.
