nice looking merc i just picked up a 300e here in new zealand for 300 dollars no one likes old euros here they are afraid of them have had a few parts shipped from pelican parts great to deal with and reasonably priced postage kills me but should be great for you, they stock genuine parts also as well as good quality spurious parts easy to use website too.
Awesome man, very hard to find something here under 3k that's not a total heap or has registration issues, happy to hear you could find something for so little!
I'll get on to pelican parts, there are a few little interior bits needing a going over, I think a lot will be ré-gluing trim that the sun has detached over the years. Luckily I think I've found a parts car not too far away for all those difficult to find bits and bobs.

Well I would have picked something big and american but there is nothing wrong with a W124 I suppose - but a diesel??? In a country where petrol is like €4 a GALLON but well wear anyway.
I would have waited until I could afford a used one of these.
