Not surprised that interior came up good, it seems very hard wearing and simple. It's not Audi plush, but it's got everything you need and nothing more. Not got the cosy feel of an MX5, but for bigger people, that's no bad thing.

That is looking great, You said the paint work needed some attention but in the picture it looks spotless. You also have face lift side vents which look real nice on the car.

Best of luck with it Mick, you will enjoy turning the screw up in that one, lovely balanced car.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Mine had been sitting for some time so all disks and pads needed replacing. All shocks needed doing also. But the bigger problem was internal... compression and leak down test showed issues on cylinder 1 & 2. So engine out.

Head skimmed, valve seats redone. Cylinders re-honed new rings. New timing chain and guides, all seals and pumps along with clutch kit. Really nice engine now with complete head set. Way too much money spent on it

Now that's a project... still at the same time when your going for a blast it's hard to beat the peace of mind.

Just need to sort a good exhaust system then I’ll be enjoying the hell out of it.
