Thread: Backroads Strava club

    Backroads Strava club

Might be nice to see what backroaders are up to on their bikes. I have been annoyed since the start of the year by an almost constant wind so my average speeds are a bit low as I just cruise along if its windy.

Here's me, on hols on Lanzarote until tomorrow. I turned the rented bike back into Renner Bikes at lunchtime. Great shop, very helpful and rented me a brand new out of the box Merida carbon bike with a compact for €20 per day. Sore tendons, weak knees, time for a day or two off

Use a HR with the garmin then upload it. Good for zone training then analysing later

Yes. My Garmin 510 came bundled with cadence/wheel speed and HR monitor. I am starting to use it to help me cycle better but so far know very little of the science. I do what I'm told!
