Just noticed, first few posts are missing from my Evo 1 thread, is it a hangover from the migration?

Check if you're using an adblocker or any other privacy tools on the laptop, through Chrome or as a Windows/MacOS etc service. Adblockers and privacy tools can cause exactly the issues you describe with VB5.

Nope no adblockers that I can see. Messages were displaying fine last week, but not now after the weekend. Nothing has changed with the laptop

So if I start typing backroads into the address bar and click on the backroads.ie "http://backroads.ie/" that pops up, I'm brought to the backroads main page but I'm not logged in. If I follow any of the other suggested links for backroads like for Bits and Bytes "http://www.backroads.ie/forum/diverted-traffic/bits-and-bytes" I'm brought to the Bits and Bytes section sand I am still logged in. Somehow if the www. part is missing from the link, it doesn't consider me logged in, i.e. "http://backroads.ie/forum/diverted-traffic/bits-and-bytes" shows me logged out. Even though I am logged in, typing this in.

Your browser will regard those as separate sites. If you login, the resulting cookie will be only valid on one of them. I can look at putting in a redirect that will ensure you always land on www.backroads.ie

Also wondering if we can do a dark mode here like vag drivers. I switch to dark mode on most forums where that is possible. I dunno is it my imagination or what but the new forum seems ultra white and a bit dazzling.

I think the dark theme is a fair point. will see if theres one we can add.

The only problem being that they all need some work. I have yet to fix the Cool Blue one as an example. Any day now, though.

Sorry if this has been covered but is there a quick way of getting to your own started threads? On the old version there was a button for "Find latest started threads" or something along those lines, can't seem to find something similar in the new version, do I need to sift through all my subscribed threads to find the one I want?

You can save a bookmark or shortcut as one way of doing it if it's something you use regularly.
