Something interesting is going on at Snake Island. The Ukrainians have bombed it flat, and taken out the SAMs so troops there are very vulnerable and likely not being resupplied. An Mi24 chopper allegedly stuffed with Wagner mercs landed there yesterday (disembarking troops in skirmish line, not at the chopper pad, indicating they were possibly expecting trouble) and was promptly blown up by a Bayraktar.

Resupply? Rescue? Liquidate possibly surrendering troops to take control back? In any event they have lost their staging post for special ops troops doing nasty stuff in Transnistria.

The victory day parade is currently underway in Moscow. Putin did not, as had been suggested, declare an all out war against Ukraine.

I'd suggest people just arriving at stuff like that wearing Tipp or Clare jerseys with county flags etc
They can't do anything without lowering themselves to unacceptable levels, because you're just supporting Irish counties in their team jerseys - but the colours are damn close enough to get the message across.

I do wish the world media would stop playing to Putins media agenda.
By reporting from the Moscow parade, showing pictures and videos of Russian military and discussing Putin's speech, they are allowing the discussion to be centered about him and his will.

Its making the tail wag the dog and the world media should know when they are being played.

As with so much else that's just more horsesh!t.
When living in Moscow it would always rain 2-3 days before the Victory Day holiday - absolutely guaranteed. They'd perform cloud seeding over and around the city so as it had rained before the holiday. The cloud seeding was obvious as fcuk, given that the entirety of Moscow city is a no fly zone. So all was needed was a telescope or binoculars and you'd actually see planes over the city, when there shouldn't be any unless they have special permission.
