How in the name of jaysus are people driving cars around with bald tyres? I walked by a car parked in Phoenix Park this morning where the two front tyres had wire visible on the outer half of each.
I didn't have a chance to take a photo, but it was worse than this below:

I pointed out tyres of similar state to a lad at a petrol station in the midlands and he looked at me as if I was the crazy one, he hopped in and drove off.... wasn’t a young lad either 🙄

Apparently there was traffic chaos close to Dublin airport this evening.

Them useless shower of complete wasters protesting about immigration or something....each and every one of them should be thrown into the sea.

The way to approach that issue with people is to point out the baldness, and advise them that the tyres are probably still fine in the dry, but that they shouldn’t exceed 50 km/h on wet roads - might get them thinking (which they obviously don’t do that often).

Why are some drivers such utter c*nts? Just had someone in a yuko car nearly crash into me trying to stop me from merging ahead of him outside the Punchbowl in Booterstown where the 2 lanes merge. I'm well ahead of him with acres of space to merge(which everyone else is doing peacefully, without issue), and he violently accelerates to within a few inches of my driver's side door once he copped what I was doing, for absolutely no reason. Proceeds to hammer his horn and hop into the bus lane to my left to give me the finger. Baffling stuff.

A cyclist would have known that there was there no need to merge - it's not a bus lane on a Sunday, so there are just two lanes open to all classes of vehicle.

There are a few left turns and an exit from a garage that make being in the bus lane a bit of a pain on that stretch.

You should do, I’m sure you have seen all sorts but from an enthusiast group it would be interesting to see what the general public think is acceptable.

I assumed in a moment of complete naivety that it must be climate protestors. But I guess they go on holidays to Spain like everyone else.
