Appearing today in my Facebook feed, just what I'd never wanted -

    The cylinder head gasket key-ring:

And yes, to save you all looking at the small print, they have clearly identified the engines where the owners have most-likely fitted several new head gaskets already:

    Now that's an accurate algorithm.

Or rubbing one's face in it.

    Haven't decided which, yet.

I love the fact that if you go for a V6 or V8 etc then you get two head gaskets on the keyring. This stuff is just too cool.

Actually, now you say it, there's not many commemorative head gaskets for BMW, Porsche or Mercedes, and only one for the whole of the VAG group.

Perhaps they are making a point, rather than a joke

Ah, well, once it's hanging from your rear-view mirror rather it stops being a piece of tat and becomes instead an official G-Meter

I used to have a Colonial Viper from Battlestar Galactica as mine...

That's the thing about German humour, when it's not lowbrow slapstick, it can be very subtle and dry, to the point a lot of outsiders don't even realize they're extracting the urine. I deal with Germans a lot, and they can be great craic once you get on their wavelength.

Not looking a the website, but only because I really don't like keyrings and making key bundles bigger. I'm one of those weirdos that won't even keep their car keys on the bunch with the rest of the keys and keep them separate. I hate having a bundle of keys rattling round out of the ignition barrel!

Cut it in half and it'd probably do the Cappuccino.

On a similar note, I got a targeted ad yesterday for some ladies jewelry that is the outline of a map. Their website allows you to move a box around and create your own necklace based on the streets of anywhere in the world.

Naturally I used it to create pieces based on some of shit€ junctions and roads. No prizes but can ye guess 2,3,4?

                    Is No.2 the Walkinstown roundabout?

Bottom right is Blanchardstown M50 interchange I believe. You’d wonder if they hadn’t gone for those roundabouts in the initial design if the main interchanges had to become so complicated. Like the Blanch one if coming from the south and wanting to go west, you need to cross the M50 instead of a simple exit to the west like at the previous interchange.

I'm the same, I even drill out the fob part of a key to make it lighter!
