Ok so instead of being the last post on an Octane thread, this is to be the first post on a ..... forum name as yet undetermined.... thread.

May as well make it "show us your bike" jobbie.

I'll kick things off with my brand new yoke. Has yet to see any tarmac, I've just done a few sessions on indoor rollers to size it up and stuff.

Beaut Bloke. What would the full retail be on one of those with close enough spec? Frame alone is 4k plus. Red must be another 1.5k and the wheels another 1.2k. All in all wouldn't be much change from 7.5-8k when all is said and done! Niiiiiice.

I can. not. wait. to go shopping in 2013.

This is my race bike for next year (excuse the shitty photo), adjustable rear end so that it can be run geared as it is here, or as a singlespeed. Ok its not trendy wagon wheeler but its mighty fun for a hardtail.

Nice bike Evad, how do you find the 1x11? You race XC I take it?

Picked this Felt Q920 up second hand last month. Great spec for the money I paid, Rock Shox Recon up front, SLX shifters, XTR front and rear de-railer's, Avid Elixer 3 brakes all round. Very little wear on the frame but the rear brakes needs some attention and the rear tyre is pretty shot (explains the brake problem!) but other than that it's spot on.

Hoping to try a little XC on it next year! Went out for a spin yesterday afternoon though and enjoyed the descents a little too much, so now my cycling goals for 2013 are being warped by enduro! The old adage holds true, one bike is NEVER enough.

Got this last April. It's the basic Lapierre full sus bike, but suits me fine. Haven't been out on it as much as I should but getting back into it now. The 'action' pic is on the bridge over the Dargle just before the top of Powerscourt Waterfall. Need to get more skillz, but I'm fairly sure a better front tyre is going to be the 1st mod as it's just crap.

Beautiful bikes fellas, I'm still on the Litespeed and Klein, no point in buying something new as they are both sweet bikes.

Just need to get out more in 2013

Edit: Desmo and Dude, what computers/software are you using? It sounds cool! Is it Mac compatible?

Thanks for that, lots to chew over

One question, how is the mounting hardware for the main unit? I have ITM Mantis bars, so they aren't round on the tops, would that be a problem?

You can basically mount it anywhere - loads of pictures on here http://www.dcrainmaker.com/2009/12/garm ... eview.html I actually have mine mounted on the stem. The mount is held on with rubber bands, so it comes on and off in seconds and is reusable many many times.

                              latest addition:

Looking forward to getting it out on the track. its stiff and fast as hell. Hoping to do some track racing this year to compliment the road racing.

Aswell as that I have a giant tcx2 cx bike for cx racing, boardman pro carbon (racing bike), boardman team carbon (training bike), dolan something that's currently undergoing a transformation into a TT bike, rockrider mountain bike, dawes the edge mountain bike (cool mid 90s steel mtb thats really lovely to ride) and a colnago super with full campag that im currently fixing up and hoping to do the L'eroica on.

                              Its a sickness.
