AirTags for tracking - its not very good

Well, the Tile is probably better in this case, as the Apple AirTags are made to work with Apple stuff.

Is the Tile particularly bad?

I just bought a pair of their Pro trackers for my Dad's sets of keys as well as a Skim for his wallet as his Christmas present.

I went with these because of their Android compatibility, he uses a Samsung phone.

I found them better in terms of finding things - the interface is just a lot easier Also, they may be a little louder which is good. In addition, Tiles need to be replaced, they become quite feeble after a year, whereas the airtag batteries can be replaced. I haven't really used them as trackers or to find something outside the house using passing iPhones but I leave one in the car and it does seem to capture its location quite well. So Tiles are useful but a bit frustrating, airtags are a bit better, to me anyway. If you are stuck in Android then you might as well go Tile.
