    Hopefully!

I’m toying with going to Paul Ricard in July as part of a Spain/France hoon this summer. We’ll see if the stars align.

Really looking forward to this season!

Pre-season session in Barcelona on the 23rd - 25th of Feb
Official pre-season test in Bahrain on the 1oth - 12th of March

Got a mad notion to get tickets to Miami a few weeks ago... unfortunately it was completely sold out already, and only gave me the option for 2023. Might try for Zanvoort for a quick weekend break, have a wedding the weekend of Spa

Say that would be sold out too with it being Max's home GP. They said last year they could have sold 1,000,000 tickets for it.

I was in Budapest in 2018, a good cheap option at the time. Weather was very hot and seemed worse at the track than in the city. Budapest is a nice city too, so was a good weekend break we had there.

Tickets aren't on sale yet. I have an email alert set up for when they do... They won't hang around long I'd say

                      Masi has been ''re-assigned''

                      https://www.bbc.com/sport/formula1/60418716

Two new race directors will now take on the race director role on an alternating basis.
And not surprisingly, direct radio communications between the race director and teams
                      will no longer be allowed.

                        Good riddance!
he can wait out his retirement in a small office in FIA headquarters pushing papers from left to right for all I care.

However; One of the persons mentioned as replacement, Niels Wittich, has not exactly covered himself with glory in DTM as of late:

"This is a non-contact sport but then so is ice hockey" - Roberto Giordanelli on Irish FIAT Punto racing but applies to all Irish racing..

It’s not a test, it’s a shakedown. The test will be in the Middle East somewhere and will be timed and televised.
