  • Best snowfoam/foam cannon

    Hi all,
Looking to find some sort of snow foam I can just spray on, leave for a minute or so and power wash it off without touching the paintwork. Also, looking to find a foam cannon that can attach to a hose.
    Anyone have experience in this?

I'm using Reflects Cherry bomb foam this last year. Always find I have agitate it with the wash mitt though, maybe I just let the car get too dirty before using it !! Can't help with a cannon, I bought one from an eBay seller to fit my Nilfisk pressure washer, very nicely made bit of kit with a brass body ! I'll fill up a bottle with some foam if you wanna 'try before you buy' !

Has anyone got a power washer that doesn't connect to the hose? We've a couple of water butts around that are just flowing over, if I could drop a hose into one and have the pressure washer draw from there it'd be handy.

You'd need a washer with a pump. I've only ever seen petrol ones that do this.

Is the idea of snow foam that you dont get marks from a brush or sponge or what?
Don't bother with Eco, it's not very nice, leave it in normal & drive it like you just stole it.

I know Karcher does something like that: http://www.woodiesdiy.com/Product/ka...ic/24959/4.1.8

Its states on the karcher website that all their K4, K5 and K7 domestic pressure washers can work using a static water source drawn either using a suction hose, or connected to a water butt tap

Karcher do a pickup hose with a filter for about 25 quid that does that

Thanks Daveboy, I may take you up on that offer.
I have a power washer, and it has a container that acts like a foam cannon (I think) but it's useless from my experience. I suppose that's Lidl for ya!
Just decided a hose attachment would be better considering the power washer won't last too long...
A walk-in shop would be preferable, as I rarely order things online.

The standard cannisters that come with power washers don't work correctly, your better off getting a dedicated 1litre can for your specific power washer brand.

You can get them online for all brands, I got one for my Halfords washer...

I know this is not the purpose of the thread, but Snow Foam = Morkeshing B0ll0x IMO. Complete and utter waste of money designed for detailing geeks easily parted from it.
