It looks like a barrel was about $85 at start of October and it peaked around $98 a few days ago.

OPEC+ met yesterday and announced a reduction in output of 2 million barrels per day.

Energy markets and pricing has reacted accordingly.

On Saturday 26th it was €159.9 for petrol in Dundalk.

It was 1. 65 at my local station this morning when dropping the kids off to school, it dropped to 1.64 on the way back. I wonder if they'll extend the excise duty reduction, which is due to expire on 28th Feb.

Great to see. I always end up needing to fill car right before there is a big drop in price. Its happened the last 3 tanks. Think i am good this time for the fill unless the price goes up suddenly in the next few days.

I filled up near Cabra over the weekend for 1.49 a litre! Can't remember the last time petrol was that cheap.
