  • John's Garage on YouTube

    Hi folks,

I've started a YouTube channel over the summer featuring a range of different classic, Youngtimer and modern cars. Just wanted to highlight it in case anyone is interested in watching it, lampooning it or, hopefully, subscribing to it.

I'm aiming to post a new video every 2 weeks and I have some very rare and interesting cars lined up, everything from the mundane to the exciting.

I'm learning as I go along but you'll hopefully see the quality and sound improves in later videos.

Hopefully there is something listed below that interests you and if not more videos are already recorded and edited ready to go live.

    Hope you enjoy it

Well just from looking at that list of cars it already looks pretty good.

I'll have a look at them later on,I'm sure it requires a lot of preparation and work before you even turn the camera on.

Best of luck with your channel, its always good to get an Irish perspective on things like this.

Oh now that could be interesting, send me a PM but it could be Halloween before I get it done if that's ok.

Don't even talk to me, my intention was to do 1 a week but that's changed to 1 every 2 weeks as pesky work has gotten in the way. It takes about 10 hours to complete every single video including research, recording and editing.

I don't want to buy good equipment until I know I'll keep it up as it's a big investment so for now it's a case of make do but I had to spend €300 on audio equipment as it was dreadful in the early videos.

Thanks to everyone for subscribing BTW, it really means a lot. If anyone see's a video they like I'd love if you could share it to forums or Facebook groups associated with that type of car or brand as I'm not on very many of the different brand specific ones.

Thanks again everyone and hope you enjoy the different videos.

                  Fair Play John.

Subscribed a few weeks ago, nice to see more Irish channels and some Renault reviews.

My Dad is a loyal Renault man and has dealt with Cleary’s firstly in Moyne and of course now in Thurles for over 50 years.

                  Wishing you Continues success.

Fair play to you, John. I'd love to be able to do what you're doing, but I wouldn't have the cojones to do it. I've watched a couple of them before now, and thought you made a great job of it.

                      Nice videos! Subscribed.

You really should get another MGF and get rid of that French stuff though

Just checked out the R19 video as from your username I knew there would be r19 content in this thread. Put up a pic of the stereo, I might be able to help you in the missing buttons.

I was trying to think of who this reminded me of and it's JayEmm on cars, irishised! Although he can come across a bit arrogant at times, I'm definitely not getting that vibe from your channel. Well done, keep up the good work.

                            Thanks everyone for the messages!

Ryan, long time no speak. Do you still have your MGF? That was a lovely little car. I was going to try find another recently but another mid engined 2 seater took my interest!

fez, I actually sold the car last week but since making the video I had finally found a new radio. I'll be sorry I sold it in time but was happy I had made it as close to being new as was possible.

hooch, I've actually not watched him yet but will do tomorrow, you're not the first to say it! I'm just doing it for fun and experimenting with the format as I go.

Great dealership that and they've a number of classic Renaults tucked away for the future.
