PS Lovely car/roads combo there, living the dream!
I'm hearing a lot of good things about the Conti 7s from other Golf R owners who have tried them too. Think I'll give them a go next too.

    • Cheers for all the feedback guys, couple of the tyre sites are showing availability of the PS4S until you place the order from what I have seen on GR owners forum. Less grip is an option and if the PS4 review are as noted there will be little to no noticeable difference. Tyres are just down to the wear markers now so would like to swap them out they survived brilliantly on the sandpaper roads of Scotland.

Getting them from the dealer is just less hassle for me and I have a decent discount with them, so selling them my problem just comes down to me choosing a tyre. I have the rainsports on the GT4 and yes they are a great tyre, but wouldn't use them on the GR, heavy items they are.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

        Any thoughts from the collective.

Some recent GR photos from the Bonnie Highlands, sunburn and 18 Degs at the end of April, what a place. The car was relentless in a mix of company, Boxster, K20 Lotus, Supra TT, S/C Mini. Definitely a car well suited these roads, and when things got bumpy especially on corners there was nothing in the company that would hold with it and yet it was composed. Not sure if its boring or not, but it is damn quick and capable on the twisty tricky stuff.

That's one gorgeous looking SW20. The shape is ageing so well.

Gone with the PS5's, how much grip can any one car need in reality not the PS5's will be that much of a change. Might need another set of rims now for decent tyres for a trackday or two.

For the full recreation effect that should have it's back window smashed in and a Luis Moya style helmet lieing in the back 😁
