It's about right if you look at the cost of importing one.

      *Well a JDM one anyway.

They don't have that long, it was for sale last year through a dealer for €38k. you'd probably import an early model like that from Japan yourself for around the low to mid thirties depending on what mood the VRT gang are in.

I have mine about 5 months now and love it. I personally wouldn't buy a pre facelift one they have more issues to worry about, they have the older gearbox and the interior is terrible. Id also stay away from ones with higher miles unless they've had a top end rebuild. if not factor in another €3-4k to replace the intake camshafts, lifters and upgrade the camshaft adjusters.

Some good info there, when did the facelift come out?
          Around 2009/10?

Double bonus points for the N sticker in the window.

Not sure how much value the estate aspect of it adds, but it's very expensive for a prefacelift C63 otherwise.

I'd have to agree. Seems well overpriced to me considering the mileage and the year. I don't think the estates command any premium on the saloons. There is another identical one for sale on Donedeal at the moment.

Or a facelift saloon with the same miles as the 08 for the same price

Facelift is a massively improved car in a W204 but maybe there is someone really into an estate who will pay the premium asked.

Any car that merely takes you from A-B does not go far enough.

                          • I spent nearly a year looking for one, from my experience in the UK & Japan the estate version definitely holds a premium over the saloon and coupe but your only talking around 10%.

I'd agree that estate is overpriced, especially for a very early pre-facelift with that mileage. It does have the lower tax, which very few of them do as they only came out May 2008. I reckon the €30-32k is a more realistic price.

That 2012 saloon version is pretty good value, going by the spec and kph clocks I reckon that's a jap import too.

                            • Bit of a mash up that car. Front bumper and rear lights from a VTEC model, but rear spoiler from a non-VTEC 16v. 5 lug conversion and engine work would not have been cheap if done right. I don't really get the OBD2 conversion, or why you'd do that. All the same, if the body isn't rusted badly, it seems like a bargain in today's market?
