That was a great shake down test doing that distance!Beautiful car and a lovely colour. Can't wait to see it in the flesh!
Two TVR V8s in Ireland on the same weekend! Class! We all stood around in a circle naked, thrusting our clinched fists in the air screaming "Jap Power!!"

Well done John! Have you acquired the gold medallion and have the hairy chest on show for when you go for drives? I imagine the rumble is fantastic!
For VRT remember will need a company to do the VAT and duty, however because of the type car it is will get away with 13% VAT instead of 23%

The rumble is indeed great.. must head for drive some day.. would love to see that GT4!
Yeah, I have one of the Customs Clearance Co. doing the VAT.. thankfully no duty due.. that's right, just the 13.5% VAT which isn't too bad all things considered.

Nice little gathering at the port as well, was the other TVR heading over to Ireland as well?
Hope you have many happy years driving it and most importantly, listening to that V8

"Please be advised that Customs Duty is levied on the CIF Ireland value at the rates applicable in TARIC and you will also be liable to pay VAT on import into Ireland.
The standard rate of VAT is 23% on the CIF Dublin Value + any Customs Duties.
As a classic car, if accepted by Customs, then the Duty would be zero and the VAT @ 13.5%"
