Did anyone ever experience their tank protectors fading to grey like this. This pad previously had vivid deep colours. Bike in garage all winter and never left in the sun except when its being used?

God that was a fiddly job (taking off and on the left side fairings). Not half as simple as the S1000 but at least now I know what to expect next time. You tube is good but they never cover all the angles so there is always something unexpected that crops up but at least now I no longer have to worry about the battery going flat. First use of my new single sided paddock stand. I eventually found a V2 compatible one the internet at a reasonable price.

Next job will be the radiator guards.

I have to fit my trickle charger cables to the Panigale battery so that involves removing some fairings on the left side.

I have had two or three of these mysterious stalls since I got the bike but unlike in this video where it sputters to an engine cut out mine are sudden like somebody just hit my kill switch. In all cases it happened on very hot days after being stopped for a while at junctions and just after moving off - bang engine cut out? Starts again no problem though.
