A great-looking machine but for 21K it's expensive.

Quite a pleasant review of the V2.
900km up on mine now so its got to go for its first service. The 2021 Ducati Panigale V2 takes the looks of the Panigale V4 but chucks in a more traditional L-Twin engine and a more affordable suspension setup. But doe...

Unbelievable procedure needed to check and top up coolant on the V2 especially on the bike that runs so hot. Manual says bring it to a dealer to do it?? Two plastic panels have to come off involving the removal of 5 allen key screws and two plastic pull off / press on fasteners. First panel just lifts off but the second requires some dexterity and care not to damage the panel or surrounding bodywork.
Then no you tube video, Ducati forums or google explanation of how to do it. Think I will make my own video on it next time now that I know how to do it.

When buying my S1000 in 2021 it came down to that bike and a 2019 brand new (old model) still in its crate Honda CBR 1000 SP that was in stock at the distributor that I could have got for considerably less money than the BMW. I know this review Honda is the basic model but its interesting to see how it compares to the V2. I ended up buying the BMW mainly because I could envisage saying to myself should have got the BMW forever after which must have been the correct decision because I have never thought should have got the CBR.The title of this story pretty much sums it all, doesn’t it? Today’s flagship literbikes are getting increasingly expensive, putting them out of the realm of...

I have had two or three of these mysterious stalls since I got the bike but unlike in this video where it sputters to an engine cut out mine are sudden like somebody just hit my kill switch. In all cases it happened on very hot days after being stopped for a while at junctions and just after moving off - bang engine cut out? Starts again no problem though. So, I had two weeks of pure bliss with my 2021 Ducati Panigale V2 working flawlessly, then my engine decided to stall on me AGAIN! This occurred on August 0...
