  • 2008 Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade for sale

    Hey folks,

It is with sadness that I post this ad. I have to admit defeat to my knees. 3 surgeries and loss of too much cartilage and arthritis mean that getting on the blade is now painful not pleasurable. The bike literally wants for nothing. I'm sure the first to see will buy. I am posting here as I cannot abide dung deal.

    Asking price is €6,750

    R&G Tail Tidy €100
Carbon fibre Rear Wheel Hugger €105
    R&G Radiator Guard €80
    HEL braided lines €100
    Immobiliser Alarm fitted €150
Honda Racing smoked double bubble Screen €50

    Total value of extras: €2,010

The 2008 FireBlade comes with attitude from its rev-happy engine, race-like steering (quick, responsive), stability and supremely balance chassis. This Blade will cut it. Power delivery is flawlessly smooth, and the ride quality from the fully adjustable suspension is ideal for road riding.

This particular blade has a complete service history with Mark and Mervyn in the Bray Honda Centre. It wants for nothing. It has the sought after Yoshi R77 system paired with the PowerCommander V to fully release the engines performance. It is fitted with a Honda Racing CF hugger that helps to keep the rear end neat and clean. For maximum stopping power the high powered Tokico callipers’ are paired with a full set of HEL braided brake lines.

    Regards,

    Deus

I had a 2009 HRC 'blade, they are really great bikes, this one sounds super well (and tastefully) specced. Look forward to the pics. GLWS!

Ah sorry to hear about that Deus. That's a clean bike - and pretty tough looking with the straightforward red and black. It's the right time of year to sell, so with a bit of luck she'll find a good home quickly enough.

                Gorgeous blade Deus.

As said, the right time to sell.
All you need is the right man who wants one.

Looks like the right one if I was in the market.
