    MK5 GTI for sale

    candy white

    165k miles (mostly motorway miles by previous owner)

    DSG transmission

    Irish car from new

    NCT to May 2023

    Tax 01/23

    Cruise control

    MFSW

    Full service history and loads of receipts available to inspect

    1000s spent on car over the years in upgrades and maintenance, full service book from the beginning and all receipts

    Car has been looked after by Daltons over the past ten years or so

    The following work has been carried out to the car:

    Revo stage 1 ecu

    Revo cold air intake

    Scorpion 3 inch resonated stainless catback exhaust

    Anti lift kit

    GFB DV+

    VW Racing spring And damper kit

    Rear two brake calipers replaced at last service

    034 dogbone mount upgrade

    alternator and auxiliary belts replaced when timing belt was done

    new Bosch battery at 140k

    Timing belt and water pump done at last service

    DSG serviced at 160k

    Cam follower inspected each service and changed

    Walnut intake valve cleaning done at 130k

    LED rear lights (have originals which will be included also)

    Interior in good condition, tartan interior with dual climate control

    No wear on bolsters

    Alloys could do with a refurb (if was keeping it would put aftermarket set on)

    Very solid car which has given me zero issues in the 5 years I’ve owned it

    Genuine reason for sale. My dream car has become available so unfortunately I need to move this on

    Price is now 6,500 as have just bought a new car and need to move this on will do a good deal for a member of this forum

        I think they usually quote that the increase in the region of 40-50bhp

        never had it dynod so can’t be 100% sure. It’s a good map and car is still fairly economical

            not too much of a drop I can’t be sure the exact amount but it just sits right I think it’s around half inch or so lower than stock but not too low, I decided against coilovers so I went with vw racing (think they are called racingline now) spring and damper kit (as the originals needed changing) so decided to go with that. They have been on the car a few years now and great comfort I find, not harsh at all

            all work and upgrades done by daltons in Portlaoise they are second to none for the gti’s and a honest garage.
