  • FS: 2009 Megane 1.5dci lovingly called STINKY

SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD

Folks, a VERY good friend of mine is parting ways with his much loved* 2009 Renault Megane 5dr 1.5dci Dynamic hatch

    Mileage about 220k km
    NCT until June I think
    Tax until April
Tyres fine, few marks on the body and keys are present

It's located near Ballyvourney in the wilds of Co. Cork.

He is looking for someone to turn up and hand him money and literally not try and bargain or point out issues with the car.

    Price €600 but................

The car has been used to bring dogs for walks in the countryside so you'll be driving home with the windows open (they all work luckily).

It literally stinks, like really bad. Kinda like the smell in your worst GAA bag mixed with piss, fear and arse. I am however, from experience, convinced a serious valet will sort the smell.

The boot switch is sticking also and can drain the battery.

Other than the above it's mint* but smells like Bill and the boys have spend a week forming a human sextipede in the back seat.

    TL;DR
Cheap, reliable and economical but stinks like a homeless guys knackers. Set your expectations on the floor of a public toilet and you'll not be disappointed.

LITERALLY, no messers, car loads of lads, test pilots, NO C@$$H KNOW DR!vE, I NO wat I HAV etc etc etc

Its a cheap smelly car with lots of potential to be less cheap and less smelly

EDIT: Pms will be answered in order that I recieve them

Yes, several times. We also brought it to a priest to have the smell exercised but that just made things worse as he vomited pea soup all over the interior.

Best ad I've read in a long time!

Not in the market, but when I was, these seemed quite bulletproof- after much forum searching I could not find one achilles heel. Having at least one seems to be a prerequisite for most modern cars unfortunately!

Be a great wagon for someone, best of luck with the sale.

Congratulations to the new owner who I assume suffers from anosmia and won't be bothered by the smell on the 4 hour drive home.
