  • A4 3.0 Tdi 272 Quattro

I wasn’t going to post this on here as it’s not exactly a Backroads kind of car but as someone told me today, you never know.

I’m selling my 2016 A4 3.0 Tdi Quattro. I bought the car in the North last June and registered it here. It had two owners both from one family so I’m the third owner. I bought it with 78,000 kilometres and have put almost 30,000 on it, it currently has 106278kms on it today. It had a major service and coolant leak by Audi Galway in November and then there was a brand new engine supplied and fitted by Audi Galway in November at 98,000 kilometres. The new engine was supplied and fitted by Audi and has an Audi two year warranty as a result. I have all the documentation from Audi to support this. There are four new Hankook Ventus S1 EVO2 tyres fitted last month. I had Eibach springs fitted which gave a small drop but really improved the cars handling. I also changed all nine speakers in the car with Audison Prima and had an amplifier and subwoofer fitted by Smarttec Solutions as I love my music. The sound quality is now fantastic. I also got the steering wheel re trim with red stitching. The car is in excellent condition, I keep it well and the place I bought it off own a detailing company so it was always kept very well. I have plenty of documentation from when I bough the car and everything since. All the usual S Line spec including Apple CarPlay and a sunroof. Lovely car, fast and comfortable with handy running costs. Taxed to 6/23 and NCT until 7/24.

    €23750

Looks lovely. Very nice to see a well specced one. Out of curiosity why did it need a new engine?

It had a bad coolant leak which is common to this engine so I got Audi Galway to do it and a full service. On the way back to Dublin the car stopped.
Audiin Galway we’re great to deal with and got me home in a rental. I got a call a day or two later letting me know that they had ordered a replacement engine and that Audi were covering all costs. Once I heard that I didn’t ask too many more questions. They even gave the engine a two year warranty.

No, not at all. That’s why I didn’t ask too many questions.

If it was a wagon I’d be knocking your door down.

Now €26,000. I need to sell it as I’ve found a car to buy. Lot of car for the money and as cheap as a 2.0 tdi now

Dublin. I can get up to 50 mpg on the motorway and usually average about 40 mpg per tank.
