It seems kinda crazy looking at an Escort still trucking on in Oz.
Were they built locally, or might that one have been imported?
Details look a little different than UK/IRL cars, and it's riding higher (presumably to cope with early 70s dirt tracks and roads).

I'd have no idea on model differences between countries, but yes, these were built in Sydney! I certainly have heard of other foreign market cars needing upgraded suspension to deal with the non urban Aussie roads back in the day so I wouldn't be surprised. Sorry, I couldn't get a closer pic, you know, driving and all...
