Anybody have experience with Rayco group for body and paint

Any of have experience with Rayco group for body and paint work? Seeing slot of their ads lately. Good photos on Facebook too. They seem to do a lot of underbody work and truck cabs.

The only mention I've had is when their name popped up an A Motorhome FB group I'm on, recently.

They quoted me a minimum price of I think €3500 for preventative work on a van. V pricey, which maybe is reasuring but I couldn't fidn anyone who had used them either

They have a jeep belonging to me at the moment. Needed some structural work to the chassis and then the whole thing prepped and coated. They are expensive, but have a good setup. I haven’t collected it yet as I’m thinking of getting them to respray it while it’s up there. 5 year guarantee. Toyotas are notorious for failing DOE tests on the chassis.

Friend of mine used them to finish off a full body resto on the Merc 711 camper I sold him. He seemed happy enough. I think it took a little longer than estimated but only by a few weeks.
He had engaged someone previously who stripped it, cut everything out and tacked in panels then couldn’t finish it so they took it on like that which was brave enough of them !!
